Building Community - Driven to Serve
We Want Your Input!
Your feedback is invaluable as we plan our Community Center to best serve both our church and community. What features or resources would make the biggest impact? How can we create a space that truly blesses and meets the needs of those around us?
Here are some great suggestions we’ve already received:
Have you considered a workout space?
Could this facility offer daycare?
What about adding a public library?
We’d love to hear your thoughts! Please share your ideas in the comment section. This will help shape a center that will serve, connect, and uplift our community for generations to come.
Purpose
At Woodstock Community Church, our mission is to love Jesus, and to serve and bless Woodstock and beyond—not by waiting for people to come to us, but by actively reaching out. We believe the best way to do this is by creating a welcoming, community space—a place where everyone belongs, relationships flourish, and lives are transformed.
This community center isn’t just a building; it’s a place of connection, hope, and service—where neighbors support one another, families find encouragement, and God’s love is made tangible. It will be a central hub for fellowship, outreach, and ministry, meeting the growing needs of both the church and the community.
Our campaign theme, "Building Community – Driven to Serve," reflects our deep commitment to loving our neighbors, strengthening our town, and honoring God through service. Together, we are creating a space that will impact generations to come.
Campaign Structure
After prayerful discernment, the Vision Team embraced the community center as a powerful expression of our church’s commitment to serving the region and fulfilling our mission.
Building this center is a major undertaking that will unfold in phases, beginning with the fundraising phase to make construction possible.
WCC is blessed with incredible people who not only have valuable skills but are also eager to contribute to this worthy cause.
With Pastor Brian, Brad Kruisselbrink, Earl DeWilde, Shane Fey, and members of the Visioning Team, a Capital Campaign Steering Committee is coming together to lead this effort with passion and purpose.
Campaign Schedule
The Steering Committee is currently:
Recruiting additional volunteers for the capital campaign.
Developing campaign support materials.
Planning an exciting Kick-Off Event to launch the campaign.

Fundraising Approach
James D. Klote & Associates has been hired to administer our capital campaign.
a proven firm with a strong track record of helping churches successfully raise funds to accomplish their mission.
Wayne Spaulding is our full-time, on-site campaign coordinator, bringing 15 years of experience with the firm.
Core principles of a Klote-led campaign:
Every church member is treated equally.
Everyone has the opportunity for a personal visit from a fellow church member.
§ During the visit, you will hear the vision, discuss its alignment with WCC’s mission, have your questions answered, and learn about the plan for implementation.
